I have three 'groups' of friends, although we usually just do stuff all together. I've grouped my friends into the following groups depending on when I made friends with them: when the friend went to Quigley (my high school), when the friend went to Monaca (a neighboring high school), or when the friend went somewhere else!! So...pick a group and browse!!!
The following are quotes, paragraphs, lyrics, whatever that are about friends that had special meaning to me or conveys MY meaning of friendship really good. Enjoy!!

In My Eyes To me, a friend is more than a person. It's someone who is ALWAYS there for you, no matter what. A friend is someone who, if you're having a hard time, won't mind having the phone ring at 4 in the morning, just to talk. A friend is someone who loves you and you love back. A friend is someone who knows the deepest, darkest secret about you, and accepts and loves and cares for you anyway. A friend is just an extension of yourself, of your being, your soul. True friendship is a state of being. It's complete trust, love, and caring. A true friend is always in your heart, always on your mind, always with you, no matter the distance that separates you. A friend is someone whom you can just sit with and enjoy the time, someone who you can be yourself with, and don't have to try to be someone else or someone better than you. A friend is someone who knows when you're hurting or in pain or crying or suffering or sick, and tries to make you better. A friend is someone who will pick you up from the dirt and the mud, even if it risks getting themselves dirty, also. A friend is a Gift and a wonder, and should never be overlooked. |
